I'm trying to thin my inventory. I will be giving away clothes as I have time. To win just give me a fun fact (only 1) about this day in history. March 3. Whichever is my favorite wins the outfit. It's purely subjective, as it will be based on whatever either makes me laugh, or makes me happy. It can be personal, it doesn't have to involve world history. Only one post per person and one fact per post.

Outfit includes hair but not facial features. I'll choose a winner later tonight or in the morning as time permits.

Thank you everyone! You are all so entertaining and just so sweet I'm amazed. I will choose a winner and see if the game will let me deliver the prizes. No further responses will be considered since I have closed the contest.

Today is my son's 19th birthday so March 3rd always has meaning to me. One of my close high school friends shares his birthday in addition to two former coworkers who I still keep up with on Facebook. I always found it amusing that the year he was born (2006) makes me think of a math problem (3+3=06 instead of 3/3/06). I know you said only one but hope you don't mind me adding that we learned years ago Florida, the state we live in and my son was born in, was founded on March 3.

Apparently in Canada, March 3rd is Canadian bacon day

so Canadians would have a fun celebration by eating dishes that have the Canadian bacon in it :?:

im not sure how true this is but sounds like a fun lighthearted celebration :haha:

On March 3, 1887, Anne Sullivan begins teaching six-year-old Helen Keller, who lost her sight and hearing after a severe illness at the age of 19 months. Under Sullivan’s tutelage, including her pioneering “touch teaching” techniques, Keller flourished, eventually graduating from college and becoming an international lecturer and activist. Sullivan, later dubbed “the miracle worker,” remained Keller’s interpreter and constant companion until the older woman’s death in 1936.
