Many of you, are aware that I have been absent from forums. I have had a very rough past two years. The death of my mom, illness of my husband and subsequent death took a toll on me. Moreover, I also had been trying to financially support me and my boys in a townhome we had rented from a friend (loosely used now) of ours. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances which were slightly in my control and some not, I wound up losing my home. Fast forward to the weekend of moving out. My landlord was being a complete D. He couldn't even wait to change the locks! Like literally hand over keys and he started changing the locks as I spoke to him. I was flabbergasted! Like how rude!!! Then I went on to explain some other things and that I needed a bit more time to get some more items out. Originally, he said, "that's fine, take your time, this weekend. No rush. " Next thing I know, I wake up and he's literally yelling at me via text to get things out. I get it. I understand. I then went over to the home (we were in a hotel nearby) and explained the best I could the situation. He started to disrespect me, but because I had my sons with me later changed his tone. I also explained that I am sick (yes, I am, but I'd rather not go into that right now), anyways, the place I was originally supposed to stay at, well that fell through. Ugh. I was like devastated because now I had no home. I was in tears. I had to use my son's money to get another hotel room to stay at and then that's a funny story too. So, I arrived at the hotel, and guess what? I couldn't check in because booking.com was being an ass and wouldn't send the payment to the hotel! I was back and forth on the phone for over an hour, and the hotel manager was too. But luckily, it all worked out. So for a night and a half, we had a place to stay. Luckily, I had met some lovely people at my new job. One person, is now my beloved sister from another mother and the running joke at work is that she is marrying one of my boys or dating both of them (no they are just all really close to one another being that they are all around similar ages) and I am soon to be her MIL. :?: :silly: :haha: Anyways, I do currently have a roof over my head thanks to her. It's not a pretty chapter of my life right now, but I trust God and his plans. Do I feel like JOB? Yes indeed so. I loved and I lost. I had everything and it was taken from me. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. I am so humbled right now, that I can't tell you how humble I am. I tell all of you not out of want for pity, but because, my story is that of caution, in the blink of an eye, our lives can change in an instant. You can have it all one day and then boom, like a thunderclap out of nowhere, you have nothing. Hopefully, soon, I will be able to give you an Update 3 which will be more joyous.

Are you still in a hotel?
I'm glad you hope work!!
I hope you feel better soon.
Sometimes I just don't understand how bad things can happen to good people. As you said it's in God's hands and he knows why. Stil doesn't make it easy.
Sending big hugs your way.

BIG HUGS ANGEL!!!!!
I too am just now trying to get my life at a place where I am alright with,it has been hard and I have not been on much myself. I am so sorry to hear about the things you have been going through-I had no idea! I pray things getting more settled for you before the cold weather begins and that you and your sons will be alright-I detest when people say "everything happens for a reason"-since moms death I do NOT believe this there is no reasoning why certain things happen especially to those who are most loving and kind (I know all that you have been through) I hope things take a turn for even better for you. Thank you for sharing with us and yes one never knows each day or what could happen to any of us.
Stay strong keep safe and I still say nightly prayers with you in it
