June dear thank you so much  These outfits are incredible and also portray so accurately the situation where Long Covid patients look so normal on the outside, well even our blood work often looks normal and yet there we go with the stabbing whole-body pains.

Science isn't there yet to test for the right biomarkers but one day they might soon be...

This looks really good Azuma!

I'm so glad you're alright. Please stay as safe as possible. The weird thing with me is that during my active stage of the infection my symptoms were minimal so I never though much about this virus before I realised the long-term impact.

This avi represents feeling alone, not understood by friends/family/doctors. Long COVID still isn't fully understood and can leave patients in this states of isolation in a sense! BRING HOPE TO THE HORIZON!!

As someone who has suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrom(ME) relapses from the age of 14(11 years ago), an illness with symptoms that strongly resemble long covid, I really empathise strongly with what you're going through, and admire the fact that you chose to make this contest deeply.   It is a cause very dear to my heart, and this is such a beautiful way of raising awareness for sufferers of this dreadful virus.
It is only in recent years that I have come to make a 'recovery' so to speak, through leading a more active lifestyle and sheer willpower and determination. There was once a time when it felt interminable. I had no drive. No power. No energy. I was depressed; I thought I'd never be able to lead some semblance of a normal life...but, through putting self care first, and the love of my family and my now two-and-a-half-years-strong partner, I saw an incentive to get well. I saw meaning in my life. A purpose for me. And I carried on pushing the limits, and here I am now, leading a semi-normal(and far healthier) life.
Though still I go through periods where it is hard to get out of bed, those times are less than they were, and I wholeheartedly believe that where there is a will, there is a way. You can pull through this, Vas.
 Put your health first, and know that there is always a light in the darkest of times. You can do this. I have faith that you can recover.
Thank you so much for this contest, Vas.   God bless.

Okay this is definitely a favourite :haha:

I remember people saying "We are the middle children of history. Born too late to explore earth, born too early to explore space" and yet we don't understand most of the complexity of our own human body - these diseases above a clearly a testament to that.

Thank you for joining the fight against Long Covid and all the invisible illnesses Susanne!
