The last Christmas we all got together...
My sisters, who were all older and insisted I sit at the kids table because I didn't have a bf/gf/partner at that time My oldest sister from across the room was flipping everyone off because no one liked the food she made, two trays of Lasagna. Another sister was giving a bad toast who no one could hear over the two at the head of the table arguing (hang on). Mom was yelling about kids running around and it was going to be something if one of them knocks one of her nicknacks down. No one paid attention. It was three sisters and their family. Linda, who had 6 boys and her husband. Robin, who had 3 kids and her husband, and lastly Patti who had 7 kids and her husband.
The first problem was people trying to yell over each other. I was not sure at first how it happened yet but Linda somehow ending up with a wad of mashed potatoes in the face. The whole room went quiet because of it. She demanded to know who did it, my sitting at the kids table found out who exactly who did it. It was her oldest son but ofc no one fessed up. Linda took it upon herself to grab a wad of dish and shoved it in Robins face. It was on!!! I took the kids into my room . They were having a full fledge food fight. At some point someone started laughing then the rest joined in. Most of the food was gone and the rest wasn't enough to even have the kids eat. So they called every place they could to get food while some were cleaning up the mess. It was bonkers! And because I laughed at it.... they turned to me.... and I ran off and locked myself in my room. All of it happened because Mikey (Linda's son) Threw potatoes at his mother. To this day I crack up over it. It was also the last time my mom hosted. It was all up to the sisters to do it now. Oh the mess in the house was so bad and all too funny. and I am laughing as I type this. LOL
If I win I plan on buying Christmas gifts to everyone I know and talk to daily. Some small Christmas cheer to give out and make everyone happy. Its all about the small things.
I can't pick just one person. Cynna and Greg who are always vigilant in posting the wish lists threads. Sealine, Gothica, Sara YoVirgo, Kitten and so many more who makes us all smile and laugh or leaving us presents that blow our minds because we never thought anyone would give those big surprises. My heart goes out to all those Yo Angles to step up to the plate and go out of their way to help others.
Thanks - Cristiana /Jo
