That's a lovely contest pat! Thank you so much for hosting

Thankful: I don't know if it sounds grimm but nowdays I'm just thankful to be alive. To be able to live and fight another day.

and when it comes to food I'd say gyros I'm very much into Greek gyros.

YoWorld wise, I'd be happy with any style during Thanksgiving although to be host hats, beannies, toques are mostly my thing and I'd appreciate it if they released a male outfit as well.

First, I want to say "thank you" Pat for hosting this contest and getting others to see the good in everyday life and being grateful for the little things.

I am not a very social person, but I am thankful for the people I have met over the years through Yo. Some of them I am still friends with today.
Lately, Yo has been cathartic and therapeutic for me, and thanks to all of you here on the forums and in game I am seeing that there is still good in my world. So, I am grateful to each and every one of you that our paths have crossed and made this holiday season a little brighter.

Has you ever gone to a restaurant instead of having a thanksgiving feast? How was the experience?
I have done this and it was done more out of necessity than desire, and as far as I remember the service and experience pleasant and probably better than was expected. I was just grateful that the staff took time away from their loved ones to be there that day help others have something they may not otherwise have had.

I love focusing on gratitude!

I'm most thankful for my family. I hit the absolute jackpot with wonderful, loving, encouraging parents, the greatest, most fun and most loyal sibling, his awesome choice of a wife, and my own awesome choice (if I do say so mwah hah) in a husband who is almost too good to be believed.

I can handle anything by remembering how lucky I am in this, the most important thing IMO.

We went to a restaurant one year. My grandmother had recently passed, my brother, sil and nephew were with her mother who was battling cancer and my aunts were away. Since it was just my parents and the 4 of us, my mother saw an ad for a restaurant and decided she didn’t want to cook. It was a really nice place on the river, reservation only for Thanksgiving. You could order from the regular menu or get their Thanksgiving plate that was Turkey with all the fixings and pumpkin pie for dessert. Our waitress was wonderful. Said she didn’t have family local so she really didn’t mind working. Overall, we had a great meal and were thankful to be together.

Now my brother and sil live closer and she loves to cook so Thanksgiving is her deal. I’m happy to not have to cook!

Thanks so much for hosting Pat

Thank you for entering Nirnir  oh yeah the turkey is such a huge symbol of American thanksgiving! personally, my family doesn't make it because we dont like turkey. We make thanksgiving ham with pineapple and maraschino cherries instead and usually another main dish (usually pozole or tamales) :)

Are you new to forums, did you take a break, did you change your username, or have I just been even more forgetful lately than usual? :haha: I've been around consistently since 2018 and feel like we "met" not that long ago.

Regardless, I'm really glad you're here now.
