This problem started today
Am I the only one?
Is there a way to fix it?

The same thing happens to me on the desktop app. I was able to send gifts to my non-FB buddies, but when I tried to send to my FB buddies in a separate effort, the app just blinked out. I tried it once more and the same thing happened again. Oddly, afterwards when I ran YoWorld on Facebook, I was able to send to my FB buddies without any problem.

Some of my friends reporting same thing. I tried to respond previously and was BLOCKED

Don't know why this is an issue; yet again after two days of working... but:
I removed facebook friends from the batch list and that seemed to solve the issue.

Also, when it crashes, it leaves a box on the screen saying that "you'll need a new app to open this about link"

Knuckles, I have that same message after the desktop app shuts off!! I am glad I'm not alone!

It crashes the Desktop app, and pops up a message from Microsoft store to download a program to open the ap.

Hey guys, there has been an increasing number of reports coming in about this issue and it seems to be a result of Facebook changing the UI for certain players. In the event that it is something else, could I suggest that you file a ticket with the Player Support Team giving as much details as you can (if you can include a screenshot of the message you are getting, that would be great).

With regards to the sending of gifts, this remains to be an issue with Facebook and the integration of the buddy lists. So until that is fixed on Facebook's end the Vikings are unable to do much about that.

What is different however is the shutting down of the app. So please do send in a ticket so it can be investigated.

Update: If you getting a pop up message when trying to log in and or sending gifts could you please address your ticket for the attention of Viking Reilly so that she can investigate this.

Hi, I cannot include a screenshot because the desktop app closes/crashes as soon as I hit "send" for my friend's gifts. Also, I did send a player support ticket. Not sure if it will make any difference.

same here gets realy big the send gift page then shuts down ... 2 days now ... sending gifts is a real chore now ...

I get the same message as you after the desktop app closes and today is my second day with the problem
