I thought it might be a virus after i tried to add new login info so i uninstalled it for now. Gonna scan my computer now. I spend to much money on this game to feel ripped off and like all they really want is our money. I was playing on Yoville long before it became Yoworld, they should change it to Yomoney :grr :grr :grr

HI! I just saw a new YO World screen asking for my email address I sent my email address it says they found my account, but for verification you have to tick of the boxes with the items they are asking for is ticked out I have done that & pressed the button, but it keeps taking me to another box .I have ticked all the boxes with the items they are asking for, instead of taking me to the game I keep getting nowhere. I tried using with the same user id I used for Facebook and the desktop app that the Link asked for, but they will not accept it. I am really frustrated with these issues.

GREAT....now not only has Baby Girl's account been taken BACK to Base Level but now when George is Logged in & goes to work asking for hot dogs, the ask box is in MY NAME! UURGH.....this is screwing everything up. :'(

Pop-up blocker went off when I clicked on 'link to facebook' and then it skipped to the registration section....

Now it won't bring up the first login section and I can't do anything to link to facebook... it is just bringing up registration part that shows accounts in the upper left.
* There is some sort of 'box' near the names... can't click on it etc...
Tried another browser... same issues.

I normally utilize the desktop app.. so switched to browser to get in... can't collect daily app reward.
Also, I couldn't watch ads... said function was disabled.
* don't recall if this is normal for browser version

Hey guys, sorry to read you are experiencing issues with the migration and using the new Desktop App.
The best way to explain the steps to take is to please watch this tutorial video which sets out the steps much clearer than I could.

If you are still experiencing issues then you will need to submit a ticket using the help tab above the game screen. You will still be able to access the game via Facebook. Click Here to Play

Tutorial doesn't do any good if the log-in screen (after failed 1st attempt) now bypasses the 'link to facebook' page and defaults to the registration page (which doesn't show icons beside available accounts properly) and doesn't have any link to facebook options.

I even turned of blocker for yoworld.com and nothing.

* Clearing cookies did not resolve issue!

My desktop app has completely changed to a new format.
I have to recreate my account?
And then when I click to do the ReCaptcha it doesn't work.

Bring back the old format..

Hello again,

The video tutorial does not show my case. I typed my email address as indicated on the screen, then a new screen appears saying they found my account and asking me to sign up :eh: :haha: , I used my email address and password (which were accepted and worked yesterday), then I try to verify that I am not a robot, so far so good :D ;)
Then the screen shows me that now my password is not strong enough but anyway I click on the sign up option, the app still won't let me log in, the screen freezes and again asks me to check if I'm not a robot.

The app seems to be pushing me to change my password, but I don't want to change it now, it worked perfectly until yesterday, and I don't want to have to memorize a new password. :grr :grr

What else I have to do??? Help!! :phew: :shocked: :'( :grr

I am also at a loss as to why we will now need 2 different passwords to play YoWorld ???

I used FB to go into my account this morning ... and used my FB password that I have always used ... the new APP asks you to enter a PW that has all the new requirements to play.... why doesnt it just leave your PW as its been for however long you have played .... ??? or even asked you for a new PW once you get into the new APP ... as its away from FB then it wouldnt be too hard to get a new PW for it .... but having said that ,.... will it still work on FB when we try to play using just our normal browser ....
too many changes and too many upheavals ... why would you do this to us all??????? couldnt it have been just an easy migrate over ... without all these walls that seem intent on blocking us every turn we try to take ... and over having to click on the stupid "crosswalks or buses" and doing it over and over only to be told my PW is invalid after all that .... even when I tried to change it to suit your new requirements ....grrrr ... come on sort this out ... just make it an easy transfer over .. instead of trying to kill us at every turn!!!!

UPDATE.
Finally I was able to enter to play in the new app. Here the only problem is that you have to use a new password, different from the one used on Facebook. Once this requirement has passed, an email is sent and the address must be confirmed. After that you can play. :phew: :?:

I found that some of the "symbols" they dont like .... we ended up using the @ symbol with the rest of the PW and managed to get in ... but it does require a completely different password before it will let you in ..

After multiple attempts....

I noticed on facebook... Yoworld mentions in a sub-comment that: underscore can't be used in password.

I used @ instead and it let me through to email validation.

Not being able to use _ in an password is bad bad bad!

I doubt I'll remember using @ in password if I decide to take a long vacation from the game or even now. I shouldn't have to make a note of my passwords just to remember.

I started using the new desktop app and I have a lot of problems when trying to decorate a room. :wailing:

Every time I click on the red sofa to decorate my room after a minute or 2 of decorating, something happens with the arrow, it happens that you have to put the arrow 2-3 cm below any button you want to click, You can fix This problem is temporary by reloading the game, but reloading every 2 minutes is annoying. :phew: :?:

ATTENTION PSA:

Hey Guys...since the 24th November the OLD desktop will no longer work as it has been replaced with a newer Desktop App. There is no changing that. :angel:

So with that said.. those who are having difficulties, here are a couple of things you can do:

1. If you have successfully migrated and are having trouble using the desktop app, to play the game, you will need to delete the old desktop app from your computer to avoid any conflict with the new one. The new one can be downloaded by clicking on the Save Game icon that is on the middle of your screen on yoworld.com (YoCom).

2. If you are having trouble because your email is not recognised when you enter it, on YoCom, then you will need to access the game from Facebook and check the email that you have registered in THE GAME, under the Settings Menu above the game screen. You will find this email in your account settings submenu. If that is not the email you are entering or that you verified, or you want to change it to an email address of your choice, you will have to remove the old email and enter a new one. You will then be sent a confirmation email from BVG which you will need to respond to, then you can use the new email on YoCom. This email DOES NOT have to be the same email as your Facebook account one.

3. Because YoCom is a new independent platform you will have to CREATE A NEW PASSWORD for this platform. And this new password must have the following:

However some symbols are causing an error or invalid message to pop up. Currently the _ or " symbols are not being accepted. So if your problem is with creating a password, please change the symbol that you are using and try again.

If none of the above works for you, then you will have to SUBMIT A TICKET to the Player Support Team, where they will assist you directly. If you have already sent in a ticket, please be patient as they will get to your ticket as soon as they can. Be sure to check your spam / junk folders in case their replies lands in there.

The Vikings or the Support Team will not be able to provide support for your account issues on this board.

So please do submit that ticket if you need help, as that is the only way you will get it. Use the help tab above the game screen to submit your ticket. If you are not able to get into the game via YoCom or the new Desktop App, then please access the game thru Facebook. And just in case there is an issue with your Facebook link working, then use this link to access the game:
Click Here to Play.

AND if all that fails.... please email the Support team directly using: [email protected]

I still have the same problem to decorate my rooms in the new app :sick: . I had to go back and decorate by opening the app on Facebook, I just use the new desktop app to get the rewards :grr .

I hope this problem will be fixed quickly because it's boring to have to reload the game every 2 minutes. :grr :grr

Hello I have just updated the desktop app I was in for 5 secs ago & was able to log out, but now I can't get back in. I have followed the instruction like it said, the problem now is the Face Book link & the play now button is not showing up, nothing is working now .This app sucks, already missing daily rewards. WHAT IS GOING ON? DOES ANYBODY ON BIG VIKING GAME TEAM KNOWS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ?
