I am just repeating Terri Simpson's information but Big Viking should tell everyone this. Right click on your Desktop icon. Select properties. Select compatibility. Select your system. (Mine was Win 7) I got right into the game. I NEVER could get into desktop before no matter how many times I tried.

Does anyone know what to do when you have an apple computer with a similar problem with the desk top app and not being able to log out. When clicking on "log out" a separate browser window opens into facebook--but I am still logged in separately on the app.

Reply to Sharon- When I downloaded the desktop app it gave me a desktop shortcut that opens the desktop app.. That is the one I'm talking about. Once in the game I can jump back home to facebook and then I can use the regular facebook shortcut.to play some more.
