Two - three days ago my husband and myself noticed that suddenly the February Yo Cash Collection Calendar was replaced with a December calendar. This was shortly before the Maintenance update (which we assumed would restore this to normal). My husband suggested to just collect what was there and hopefully it would return. Three days later and now we are no longer receiving the February Yo Cash Collection Calendar at all and are missing out on daily collections through no fault of our own after spending the last two weeks not being able to access videos properly. Just got a few responses from a few friends and it seems to be a growing issue. First videos (which are still not working as they originally did). Now the Yo Cash Collection. We'd like our Calendars restored please and Thank You in advance!

Since, I had to convince my husband to actually agree to our current personal project (where we will spend hundreds in general as the project takes a few months), he said that without the balance of videos working properly and now the February Yo Cash Collection Calendar disappearing that he cannot throw good money after bad form. I'm beginning to agree with him.

He logs in and does events for the most part. Sometimes we challenge each other using similar items to see who will score better during events. But for him, the lack of consistent male items and themes turned him off to playing Yo as he used to. Which is too bad because we were World Building. He invested a lot into Yo and for him it's not what it could be. So, I came up with personal themed projects as a way to peek his interest from time to time and stay connected to something we both once loved to share with a few of our friends.

I support Yo in a way that works for me. I used to promote Yo to friends and have a quite a few friends who play (some bigger spenders than me), but I cannot in good conscious do that any longer without us sharing both our joys and our issues when experiencing problems.

For me, my issue is that more time is being spent subtracting from players than adding or fixing things that have been dysfunctional since I joined Yo (less than 10 years ago). I will put in tickets for both the specific videos issues I'm experiencing, as well as for the now missing February Yo Cash Collection Calendar that disappeared about 2 -3 days ago as well (and encourage my husband and friends with other video issues to do the same). My husband will likely not bother. And there are other minor issues, but those things can wait. I am hoping for an actual resolution, so my hubby and I can do what we love and play Yo in a way that works for us.

And the video debacle! It worked fine as it was before, but has been seemingly replaced with a system based on player spending. Basically, people who spend nothing get no videos at all. People who spend moderately get videos at random. And people who spend big cash see the videos as I originally saw them with fewer issues. Not sure about this system, especially since I am a moderate spender. It feels more like a punishment than respect. Honestly, who wants to pay to play when the balance of spending real cash is met with videos not working properly or at all (especially for some of my Yo friends who don't spend, while working perfectly fine for a few of my Yo friends who are VIP). So, as a moderate spender I get random videos or videos only working while I sleep at 3am. Never when I am active. And now... no Yo Cash Collection Calendar.

As an in-between spender by choice, I spend when I love things or have a theme I'm working on. Since most of the themes I prefer to play are not 'popular' by vote, I create my own fun when I don't like a theme. I have more time for Yo today and I thought I'd work on a project with my husband. Perhaps not. So... I'm hoping that the videos will return to normal for everyone and the February Yo Cash Calendar would be restored in full as easily as they disappeared, without something else going wrong.

I'll postpone any further real spending until this is the case regardless. There is no point in spending real cash until these things are restored in full to people who actually don't mind spending in fairness.

5 Days have passed now, the calendar has not been restored.

I use all versions of Yo... from Facebook online, to Desktop App, to Notebook App, to Device App, to online YoWorld website and all my tech is up to date and I have no issues with any other games I'm playing. Nothing has restored the calendar. I did submit a ticket and got replies. So, now the waiting game is ON! lol

Since some people's calendars have been restored, I'm curious what's going on here? Are you guys streamlining again? A little transparency goes a long way. Just sayin'!

Looking forward to actually being able to play the game again. It's a great game in so many ways and has so much potential to be totally awesome. Just wish things would settled down with all the streamlining so we can actually focus on ways to have balance for all players and staff.

Off to rearrange Yo rooms and make pretty outfits for my Yo time. That costs nothing to do and God knows I have enough clothes and hairs to revamp my entire wardrobe for the fun of it! Be back tomorrow to update this thread if it's working.

So sorry so many are experiencing these things.

But, right now... I laughing hysterically! I'm just dyin'! Just dyin'! I feel like Yo World is in a Twilight Zone Alternate Universe! Come on management! I finally have time to pay and play and things are so upside down that I find creating outfits from my inventory my main source of pleasure at the moment. Just sayin'

So... I got a new "Treasure Trove"? Calendar instead of the February Yo Cash Calendar for the past two days. I waited to post about it because I wanted to see if it popped up more than once. Hmmm.... Is this meant to be a temporary fix? It's a nice "meantime" gesture. Thanks.

However... two things.

1st
The "Treasure Trove" Yo Cash and Yo Cash Calendar starts from the first of the month on Day 1. I'm in a pay and play mode and have not missed logging in since the first of February. Which means, I had 8 straight days of logging in and have logged in every day for the month since the Calendar disappeared after a December Calendar popped up and was accidentally clicked on. Since collecting for the 4 or 5 Yo Cash days was shifted to the last 3 days of the month, these things are out of reach and unattainable, which is a 9 Yo Cash loss. And there are also objects associated with the February calendar, which are like little surprise gifts that say... "Hey, Thank you for taking time from your life, and all the other games and things you could be doing to log in each day and keep this game alive". Those gifts are no more without the February Calendar. Basically, I'm missing out on all the actual perks of the real February Yo Cash Calendar, both the extra Cash and often fun random thank you gifts.

With the prices of everything going up (some in game coin items over 900% increase), both coins and gems are worth far less, there is no true player balance if the incentives are ALL 'not' working properly. I mean in-game inflation has far surpassed out of game inflation! And my videos went from working fine during a time when many others were experiencing them not working at all, to working only at 3am while I am most times asleep, to randomly giving 2 or 3 videos and then nothing else, to now totally locking me out except at regular collection time which will only give 1 video. If I'm lucky... I can keep checking throughout the day and pick up enough videos for the 1 Yo Cash. I love when the algorithms override the videos playing properly. The videos will start and say... "Oops, you are not supposed to do that!" It's like it's programmed to show only 1 video and then lock itself on the device being used. I have 10 different ways that I log in. None are working since I put in my ticket.

Without having consistent videos and the consistent perks from the original Monthly (February) Yo Cash Calendar, there is very little real player incentive. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Treasure Trove being available. However, it starts at a disadvantage and with fewer perks. It's disheartening. I still MUST limit using my in-game currency (both cash and coins) and limit spending real cash to purchase new items or more in-game cash. Otherwise, I'll end up with nothing by the time things are fixed. And that is NOT how I play. It's just not fairly balanced. Something has GOT to give!

Yesterday, I finished up my personal projects for closure, spending half of my in-game Yo Cash to do so. The husband says he'll wait to work on our project, so we set up the basics for the project and set it aside. He appreciates the Treasure Trove, but is vexed about the sudden loss of the videos (after having no issues until this month) and the loss of February Calendar. Not sure how he will play. I suspect he may stop logging in again (after I finally convinced him to take on the Events a while back). While I have purchased some of the Cat items and did a little Cat decorating because of the Events, I'm not into Cat themes or themes flooded in pink. So, I guess I'll just make the most of what I already have and finish the Events. That leaves, rearranging my Harry Potter world in Yo and creating new outfits from what's already in my inventory! Making lemonade!

I'm still hopeful! But, for now... I can only dabble in Yo and put my big project ideas on hold. Come on Yo World! You guys can make this right. I know you can!
