Hello there and welcome to the forums

Go to the avenue, and then click the chair icon at the bottom of the game screen to go into Room Edit Mode. Once there, click on the '+', and a box would appear with choices of which houses/avenues you would like to attach Click on your preference.

As to have them remain attached, decorate both rooms with at least one item of furniture each. Otherwise, a glitch would occur which, when you refresh, the avenue/house will not be attached.

Below,I've put my avenue's picture to help you.

First,go to your avenue to edit it. Then,go to edit mode by clicking the chair.


After that,click the arrow with + sign near it.


Finally,choose a home from the pop-up screen,click attach and save.
