When you bid on an item, it takes your coins/cash to "reserve" the purchase right? So if you are outbid and choose not to continue, the listing ends and it gives your money back?

I bid on something with 5 yc and was outbid. It currently sits at 6yc and Im unable to increase my bid because I only have 2 yc left... Why cant it add 1-2 yc to my original bid, rather than take ANOTHER 7+ .. then if I did, and were outbid again, it would give my 12 yc back? How does that work and take so much out of my budget? Im confused.

Also, there is no bid history in the sold page. Is the sold price the final before or after the AH commission?

thanks for your help

• when you bid on a item it usually takes the amount you've bidded out of your pocket
• if you are outbid, all of the currency you have bidded with will return to your wallet
• if you decide to bid again, that new amount you bidded with will get out of your pocket

• example:
- you bid 5 yc for a hair
- another person bids 7 yc for the hair
- 5 yc will return to your wallet
- you bid 10 yc
- 10 yc will get out of your pocket
- and so forth

• the item(s) you are bidding on should appear in the "Bidding" tab or so

thank you.... so if the 5 yc I was outbid for, wasnt returned to me, I should submit a ticket? I placed the bid, made other in store purchases to leave a yc balance of 2.. was outbid sometime in the night and woke up with still 2yc.

unless you had less than 7yocash, and it was returned to you before you made your in store purchase, then no. Don't submit a ticket.

If this was not the case, and you've clicked on the inventory box and did a search for the item name to make sure you don't have it, then yes. Submit a ticket.

After the auction is over and after you get the notification that you won the item, check your inventory. If the item is a hair, it will be in the 'Hair" tab, and if furniture, check your gold box, or type in the furniture name while in Edit mode.
