I have 175 chests and my timer says 3 hours till the mega, huge and big bonus is up. I noticed that when I opened a large amount of the marble boxes when the timers expired, the timer immediately reset and I got boxes opened on all 3 levels. Is there a way to just get the mega bonus?

No. to your question.

Open boxes 250 at a time, when your bonus is ready.
Bonuses refill every 24 hours, for everyone. It refills at like 5pm PST I think.
Marble boxes give the most. So try to add people to get yourself 250 marbles a day.

what i'd suggest is..

Save up your boxes.
- When you get 250 marble boxes, open those this will give you something like 26,500k (not exactly but around that number)
- Save your other boxes DO NOT open any other box until you have at least 100, or 250 would be best. Your other boxes give less amounts so i'd save those until you have a bigger pile, for a bigger bonus.

On the pop up where it says Daily Bonus:

This is what you get.

20 boxes for Mega bonus
40 boxes for Huge bonus
60 boxes for Big bonus
130 boxes for bonus.
That is a total of 250 boxes and once you have opened those 250, the timer resets for another 24 hours. What you need to do is add more people in game and make sure that you get 250 at least every day. ALWAYS open the Marble chests first. Once you get to the point that you are assured of 250 marble chests per day, the others are penny adders but they do add up. I get around 900 to 1000 chests per day. Once my timer resets, I open ALL of the marble chests and then I go thru and open all the rest of them and just start collecting again until tomorrow night when the timer resets.
