Hello everyone. I began playing YoWorld in 2011, and I have had my fair share of good and bad experiences. Here are some basic guidelines that will help you survive, and hopefully find YoWorld more enjoyable.

1.) Be cautious of who you befriend!
There are some nice people in YoWorld...and there are some rude people in YoWorld. Be very careful to who you become friends with in the game. They can either have an impact on your YoWorld experience, or just dump you like trash being thrown away in a trash can.

2.) Trusting other players
Now I cannot say that there aren't players in the game that are not trustworthy, but a lot of players aren't. Do NOT let a player take advantage of you. If he asks to hold your items, wear them temporarily, ect, do not trust him regardless of how good of friends you are with the individual! All it takes is a click to lose your items you worked so hard for!

3.) Avoiding scammers, and players who try to get more coins than somethings worth
One of the main aspects of YoWorld is Buying, selling, and trading items...it's basically what YoWorld is known for now. Of course, there are scammers, or players who try to take advantage of you to get your hard earned coins. Firstly, never take a deal that's to good to be true. Here is a list of some of the most common YoWorld scams that you should be sure to avoid.
-Doubling coins (coins can NOT be doubled!)
-Gift for gift events (usually a scam)
-Gambling events (though they can be legitimate sometimes, avoid the gambling events that charge you to play)
-Donation events (players who create a new account to get items/coins, then transfer them to their main accounts)
-'Fake' items (not VERY common among the rest, but people will claim that they can create fake items that can only be gifted. They require that you pay them half, or the full amount of money they want first before giving them to you.)

As you can see, there are numerous ways scammers try to get your hard earned coins, and what not. As for getting ripped off on an item that was worth less than it was, buying items depends on how much the player wants it. Price guides are an easy way to find out how much your item is worth. I personally recommend YoRehab, as it's the most popular.

4.) Make use of the report feature!
If you're being harassed in game, or something along that nature, be sure to report it! Reporting players who harass other players, scam other players, ect helps BVG pinpoint who did it, then properly punish the player.

I hope you find this guide useful. If I'm leaving anything out, feel free to tell me and I'll add it to the list of guidelines! Have a great day! :)
