When you bid on something in the AH I see my coins drop. Do you lose them once you bid on something or are they added back if you don't win the item?

If you lose the bid or get outbid, your coins come back to you.

One more question. If you do the premium is that a permanent purchase or something you would have to do each time you put up new sale items?

You have to choose premium for each listing.
