what ever you do.. DONT do it..
It took me quite a few months to learn that in facebook, well maybe a year. I thought it was some stupid technique to push a feed up. oH no. it was not that at all. I thought it was some sort of system and somewho could be used as a train to push feeds to the top by only commenting on one person. then it all started over again. I am not a total stupid idiot but I felt highly slapped by them all making fun of my ignorance like that for an entire year in facebook.

When you comment on any feed it bumps up the feeed to the top of that feed. It is against the rules to just write " bump." on a feed. it is called SPAM. we are not to comment on our own feed but sometimes i do it one after another not meaning to do this.

DO not bump. "write on Older feeds" Ask an admin what an "older feed" is as I still do not know what that is defined as.
I would imagine anything over a month old to not comment on.
That is a shame in a way because I had a gazillion questions and wanted to comment on feeds too when I first came to the forums and trying to learn.
You get into trouble for 'BUMPING.'
Im sorry,, it is a very out dated forum. I think they used this app in the 1990's

Hi Panda,
BUMP = Bring Up My Post

This is used especially in the trading section to show some support to someone looking to buy or sell an item. Everytime when someone replies to a thread it goes back up to the most recent so that more people can view it.

If someone bumps your thread, thank them! If you bump a thread, make sure you you don't do it too often so that you give other people's threads a chance to be at the top!

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you, I get the idea of what BUMP is now. Thank you everyone who defined it for me!
