Pet that I get as a gift how do i get them to keep instead of in the sell only sight.

I belive you are looking at your inventory . to use the item clcik the room decorate button when you are in one of your houses. it looks like a red chair . then go to my stuff and place the dog . It may also be a clothing item . in that case click the edit your avatar button . it will be a few places to the right of room decorate button . I would tell you what it edit avatar button looks like but im not in the game at the moment .And I cant remember . I think it is a picture of glasses . but that may have been the old UI ... maybe it was glasses for both .... I don't know .
