I hate to say this if it's mean but hopefully it's a lesson learned.
*Tips Not to Get Scammed*

1) Don't Pay to play in anything.
2) Never offer to double or attempt to have people to double your money.
3) Do your homework on some items if you're using YC to buy. Ask your friends what you'd pay for certain items, use the AH too.
4) Check badges. If the badges are low, most likely the person you're trading with cannot be trusted.
