I tried.

Inkscape & Gimp.

I legit cannot create more than a red square and a slight blue blob. I dunno how the others do it, i find it difficult lol

I decided to try Sumopaint just to play around.
Keeping in mind that I am one handed at the moment, what do you think of my first attempt? I tried to make the dress, apron and hair that I would like.

My first try in Inkscape
I undressed my avatar and used her for a model. Eyes, brows, blush, nose and lips are not my creation.
I like this program, but sumo has a couple of features I wish this one had. maybe if I used both programs, I might get what I am after.....
Anywho, what do you think?
