I've start to play few weeks ago, and I am on level 56 now. I wanted to buy hair from a girl. And... I couldn't trade her, neither she could trade me. She told me that I have to be level 50 (I was 48 then). Leveled up, but... I still can't trade.

You also have to pass the first sections of your badges and finish your apartment to level 10 each room..
When I was a noob, by the time I was level 50 I had a whole lot of visits done. We had to gift new and used gifts to other players. The visits were points also..
We had to be shop savvy. Each badge had to have accomplishments.
The hardest to do for me were the races, but those are also value as points, I think 25 points each win.
I forgot how many times each time we had to do it to gain an award in it. My badges are very hefty and I am very proud of my badges.

I have decorated my apartment to level 10, all rooms.

it seems like others are having issues too, some are some are not. So..
I think, in my humble opinion some of them badges is a must. I know when I was a noob. I gifted over and over on my ladder.
I gifted everyone oodles of gifts.. they were strangers to me and I never saw them in the game, new gifts, old gifts.
Pink rets. I gifted many pink rets when they were coins. Ill never forget, I gave everyone on my ladder a pair but me. When I went to get me a pair. they stopped selling them that hour!
I could not believe it. Of all things right?
I shopped finally at the store. I was very badged in shopping and visiting and gifting.

I didn't see in that post what those minimum requirements are? I have started to play at July 15. I am on level 90, it is really easy to level up after hard time to get level 50 I don't miss ability to trade that much, I haven't even notice it until few days ago, when I wanted to buy hair from a girl. LOL, I get it as a gift after that

it took me a year to level up to 50. However Im slow.
a real "noob" cannot level to 50 in 2 weeks. nope.. not possible.

I am not real noob I have played this game 6-7 years ago. Leveling up is much easier now, then was. And, buying YC is much more affordable. Last I've get 22 YC and coins for 1.99 dollars, level 100 bundle.
