I CAN TRADE BUT MY MOM IS LEVEL 51 NOW AND CAN NOT TRADE. SOMEONE TOLD ME YOU HAD TO BE LEVEL 50 TO DO IT NOW. IS THAT TRUE? BECAUSE SHE USE TO PLAY AND COULD TRADE BUT HAS BEEN GONE A COUPLE YEARS AND NOW SHE CANT TRADE. HOW CAN YOU EVEN AFFORD TO GET STARTED IN THIS GAME IF YOU CANT BUY AND SELL? To unlock trading, you need to meet a number of requirements, but no one knows what these are yet as BVG won't tell us.

I'd suggest your Mom gets the top badge, and then see if that works. Other than that, I have no idea - sorry.

I say in my professional menial opinion. you have to be at least level 50
PLUS
APT rooms maxed
Part of stores shopping in badges.
Visits and gifting
I remember I had to gift new gifts and used gifts to players in the ladder and make daily visits and the visits makes badges go up.
on your badges there are certain critieria to meet. At least 1 section in each one met. The ability to trade is to be sure the person can protect themself too and when I was a noob I was so taken advantage of it was not funny. I think a noob has to have some internet savvy on board. This game teaches this. They should be able to write bvg in the help. they should be able to go to forums.
Level 50 was the "highest at one point!" it was a very very high task to do and not done in under a weeek or a month. Honestly, it is not easy peasy..

anyone of us with a memory knowing how we got to level 50 knew even them what the criteria was to reach this level. Internet savvy was part of it and being able to take care of self.
For one anyone, who gets manipulated in this game is not this level yet. if that be the case they do not need to have trade set to on untill a person can take care of themself.

I recently made friends with a new player and together we have been trying to figure out the can's and cannot's for new players, I want to give her a couple million coins but she can't trade?? She had to be active one week before she could send a message to anyone, new players don't have a crew in factory, so hotdogs are void for them, so I am thinking the max they can collect in the factory is 600 coins, BVG you have placed too many seemingly unfair restrictions on new players, how do you think this game can continue on at this rate???

been playing for 3 weeks and level 57 but still cant trade :l

I could not leave or reply to a message on anyone’s guestbook for 7 days. I couldn’t trade with anyone for about 1 1/2 months. I don’t remember what level I was. They have a $100 cap on purchases during the 1st 30-45 days. I’m already over level 200 and I just received the ability to give hotdogs. I have not been lucky enough to get friends to join me in the factory for work. Just 1 person. I’m learning to work everything. Switching from flash to html5 has definitely made it harder to play as a newbie. Hopefully it gets fixed and the game will be better to play. It’s not easy to find FAQ on the game or anything that I can find about playing if you are a newbie. Someone should create a section to help newies navigate the game instead of just helping out with how to post messages. I would actually still read something about how to play (tips and tricks) on the game. Please let me know if there’s anything out there that I’m missing that would help out someone new to playing YoWorld

I have been playing yoworld since it used to be called yoville i started it a year after it was on FB in the last year ive not been able to trade. Why am i not allowed anymore. This is crazy. trading did everyone so much good. Bring back trading you took it please give it back.
