Jobs have been pretty buggy (for me, at least) since the transfer from Zynga to BVG. I'm positive once the game has become well established to the new owners, the way jobs work will be completely revamped. If this issue continuously occurs, be sure to send a support ticket to Big Viking Games, they will be able to further assist you, and bring you one step closer to finding a resolution to your problem, and any problem you might come across in the future.
