What is the easiest and quickest way to level up your rooms?

If I put items into the room directly from the furniture store, will they level up my room quicker? I wish to complete my badges.

yes, your rooms will level up way faster if you place items directly from store. The more expensive the item, the more points you get- if you use yc it goes even higher.
When buying something from stores, do it from the room that you want to level up and move it to wherever you want it later.

I've just noticed that I'm getting 1 point for every 1 coin I spend so I'll try buying 6 mystery boxes for $2500 coins each, see if I get 15000 points from those (:
