I started playing again because I loved the game when I was younger and so I started playing again but like why are all the floor previews that cover the whole floor when selected gone? Same goes for the walls, I don't understand why i have to spend over 5k to cover a whole room floor... seems like a coingrab >_>

The idea for wall and floor tiles is so you can be more creative and choose where walls go . They can get quite expensive. Players put a lot of money into their rooms . But not everyone can afford to do that, a lot of people.
You can still use old wall and floor if you visit the yodepot. But tiles look nicer . You can mix and match with tiles and I think it is worth the price . When I make a room I first place wall and floor tiles . Then decorate . It is like I am making a room and decorating a room . Where before you could just decorate a room .

I too have had some time away from Yoworld and got a shock with all the tiles, I guess we will have to get used to the new way they have them
