I have several questions about siggys. What size must they be, and what programs (FREE) do you guys and gals use to make them? Any advice or thoughts are appreciated!!

I don't create siggies,so I don't know much about them,I only know Gimp is a free software. And,signature images may only be up to 100 pixels high and 500 pixels wide.
