i would like to turn the apt link in my siggy into a key or the word "HOME" could anybody possibly do that for me or show everyone else who wants to know how to do it?

I tested this in my signature and it works. You have to replace the links with your apartment link and image link:



So using Margo as an example, substituting her links for apartment and image you get:



Her image is now a clickable image that loads her apartment.

Yes, sure. Although I see a ton of threads on this now, I don't mind showing how I did it. Please make sure you have built your apartment link first. I found the instructions in this thread the most helpful.

Here is a graphical representation of where you would create your signature, followed by instructions on which code to use:



1) If you wish a graphic in your signature you must host it somewhere. Some prefer photobucket, some tinyurl. I prefer using 2 browser addons, lightshot to screenshot an area of my display and imgur to host the image. Look thru threads to find where to put your image so it can be used on the forum.

2) Now, click User Control Panel > Profile Tab > Edit signature

3) Now you will be just typing into the box making sure to stay @ 255 characters, including Bbcode.

a) To make your apartment link clickable words such as HOME or My Apartment, use this code:



replacing the apartment number displayed with your apartment # and using whatever words you wish to use. I used My Apartment.

b) To make your apartment link a clickable picture, use this code:



again replacing the apartment number displayed with your apartment number and replacing the link to the picture with your picture link.
