it seems my old neighbors are disappearing and i am unable to invite certain friends on my list that i think also have yoworld. is it just a glitch on mine? i thought it would automatically add my friends that also play but i cant even search them to invite

Same here. I can pull up the invite screen but its blank. I currently have no friends in the horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen. They all read "Add a friend". But they are still in my buddy list.

My buddy list changed too. The ones in the ladder are also the ones added in facebook. These are "suppose to be real life" friends and family you know.
My invite screen right now are people in my real life but none of them seem to be playing and accepting when I invite.
I believe the game makes allowance for those who have no friends, do not have friends that play, and or are somewhat rural.
-----------I met people in the game ( buddies ) became friends and they helped me get (buddies) which became friends too.
I also went to the bank and bought friends.
I bought 200 in Myspace and over 200 in fb.
My reasoning was if I bought them, the game could know what my likes and dislikes are know what kind of person I am and put that to me in my play. I also felt I would have a "protection kinda to have bought them." A game wont sell you scammers, right?

I would like to advise you, to never add anyone who says they have alt accounts. Not ever. If they mention it be smart and immediately report and "block them." I reported them for spamming. It is spamming if they have more than one account and go against the TOS. One day they will have a sweet report button that says, " ALT ACCOUNT." Then when we can report the message between us and them and it is sent to an admin with the report. Then they are auto banned. Enough said.
I'd like to advise you to be careful adding strangers and especially ones who claim they have alt accounts.

it seems like i have friend that like yoworld but they are never on my buddylist to invite them so they cant be my neighbors. seems weird to me like i have real friends that probably play but i cant have them as neighbors and i would want to play with them

Personally, I have had fantastic, freinds in Yo world. I met them in the game. We played as buddies, then added one another. The complete problem was people that had "alts" When adding do not ever add an alt account or a person who says they have one. If they have one I block them so they cant find me. I am afraid of people who come into a game to stalk, troll, or harrass me. We have control in fb and in the Big Viking Games on who we add or not add.
You must add family first.
Is your hot dog crew filled? How long have you played the game? If your hot dog crew is not filled, go into the factory and request to your RL friends in public to join crew.

i started playing a long time ago like 08 but i stopped just shortly after they started making yocash themes and i didnt start playing again until about 6 months ago when i discovered all of my stuff was gone because of the change over. Anything not in my apartment disappeared and all of my other houses. Which was disappointing at first but ive gotten over it. Now all of my neighbors are disappearing and i cant add people im pretty sure have a yoworld account. I can only try and add new people that dont have it. Ive never heard it called a hot dog crew before. but i dont like to bother others with game requests that i dont think they will play. im just wondering why all of my friends are not available to add, im missing quite a few from the invite list and they are people ive seen that have liked yoworld. I never add anyone to my face book that i dont know in rl too weird. I do love your events zip, havent seen you around in a while though.

Good Afternoon Tonks. I started playing in 08 too and I have no clue why that never registered. I think I quit and went to MS to play. I wanted to play with a family member in hopes we could somehow connect and have fun. I guess I was dreaming stupid or being a kid. I wanted to play with my grandchildren. Well that ended up some far fetched stupid notion as well. I came back to fb because they had better items here than in Ms but i loved my life over there with new friends I met and most connections started in MS with friendships. Then I jump over back and forth, then lol they jumped over back and forth too! . I finally joined the community in 2010 in FB and for some reason or another I ended up registered as my start date.
Zynga Terms of Service was if you were inactive for 3 months, you would lose your things. You are lucky you had apartment things.

You must add to this game by the "rules." You must add people by the way this game was set up to add people " FIRST." This game has a pop up saying they "will not bother your friends with your feeds." When you are a Noob and many have forgotten a NOOB account feature because they went and did "alts."
The features for an "alt" is different than for a noob. You are TAGGED as an alt by the game, in fb and in Zynga or in Big Viking Games if you are an alt.

Period, they know. You must send the request exactly as the game intended and that is not by going to "ADD ME" and adding "gamers." FIRST you must do it as the game requires to articulate your personal gaming experience in and through it. Believe me, you do not want to be tagged up or cookied with my "relatives or anyone elses but your own!" Mine are dangerous. lol

You must Request ALL of you OWN Wall of your own friends and family First, in PUBLIC, Once. The game will not work if you do not do this, period.
I know what I am talking about. I tested it out with 4 real life in my home.
If your rl person does not want to play. "they say 'dont show me this on the drop down menu." FB will not spam their wall.
When a person clicks " dont show me this." it gives them option box. " then "this happens.
when a person clicks block. that happens. if a person ignores it . this happens.. Let the game do what it needs to do and how it was designed to do it.
It constructs an algorithm by who you hang with, what you like don't like and your friends and foes.
The hot dogs does not bother others with games. It needs to be done "public" when it goes on your friends wall. they have a choice now to receive this notice of game invite or not. It is not like before with fb when you played in 08! Facebook has changed since then. Its been 7 years.
I told you please do as I say. Request Public to All your friends in REAL life on your Real account. You are not allowed to set up a 'fake game account to play this game!" It will not work.
Once you do it correct you may then add others you meet in the game you became buddies and friends with.
I hope I made sense. Usually I dont and people do not understand me.

not all of it no, lol but thank you for trying to help me anyways. i guess im just missing doing all of my neighbor visits because i used to have a lot and now i only have 5 lol. oh well. just makes it harder to get keys and chests. also, i saw you visited me and i thought i put my apartment link in my signature but i dont know how to link anything else.
Other people in the game thought i was crazy when i said i had lost anything but im glad i know why now, thank you. I see so many people saying they are leaving yoworld and giving away their stuff and i wish i had done that before i stopped playing but i didnt think of it at the time, i just got busy and forgot about it. Now im bored and I play games and decorate my apartment.
I know i was at a pageant once and the owners had blocked a girl there so she couldnt compete, they said they go around in alt noob acounts to check for scamming and once i had won a prize from one pageant and when the owner found me again in game she was a different account, scared the jeepers outta me lol. in the old days no one thought of alts it was a surprise to me lol. i do have suspicions about some of these trollers and think they are alts now that i know what that is but ive never met anyone that was malicious but im always very careful like people who pay for you to like their fb, just seems weird to me

...that one will be automatically added to your friends ladder in game as also onto your buddy-list...
...if you want to delete neighbours from your ladder...
...you have to remove them first off of your FB and afterwards to delete them off your buddy-list...

...its different with the *crew* in the factory...
...this feature doesn't work in the moment...means...no one is able to add crew if you haven't already four...

I've been having a problem adding any neighbors who already play the game, which are the only people I would ever even consider adding.

I click the "Want a raise? 24 neighbors needed for promotion!" image, then click on "add neighbors" and the only names it will show me are the names of friends who are not into playing online games. When I try to search for the names of my Facebook friends who actually play YovWorld, they are not included at all, and the search comes up empty. I don't know how to make my YoWorld Facebook friends my neighbors. It is frustrating, because I probably have enough people to get that raise. I just need to know how to add them.

The number of friends needed has not changed at all despite my adding several of the friends I met in YoWorld as Facebook buddies, so I don't think it happens automatically.

thats exactly the problem i am having. well at least its not just me

One of my friends played yoworld, and I was going through my friends list on my account. I accidentally deleted my friend and sent her another request, we're friends again, but she's not showing up on my yoworld friends list now. Is there a way I can add her to it?
