Yes, with teleports.
One of you has to buy a set.
That person gifts one teleport to the 2nd person.
Each of you places the 1 teleport door in whichever room you desire.

(You cannot edit or change anything in each others house though, only connect them)

If you had your buddy list off and tried to meet through the teleporters, would you wind up on the same server?

I don't think so. Unless you tried to follow them through buddy list before teleports. But then that would just be on the same server, then use teleports.

We can't gift teleporters anymore, obviously to stop scammers from selling/gifting one teleporter. Never mind though, we're sorted!

You can start a trade and "sell" one to them for 10c, lol.
