Hello, nice to meet you, Susan Marie. Here are ways to level up.
Maxing
Photo OPS- 5 pictures in a great op giving you 20 points and 50+ coins. OR
Photo Loops- a max of 30 pictures, 1 in each place with, in a loop through telport doors. You take only 1 picture per Place and are able to do it 30 other places but there is a hitch to this.

The PHOTO LOOP
1. It has to be a fast loop -- NO JUNK----piled in a room
2. It is Neat clean slightly decorated
3. What goes in the great Photo LOOP.
1 CHAIR, 1 ITEM You Like, 1 NEW THEME Item, 1 White board, 75 Herb, 25 worms, 5 small animated Christmas lights. You can change your wallpaper, floor and chair, 1 personal item, 1 theme item. The rest stays behind the white board preventing lag, piled tight.
Then and only then can those with slower computers or a phone do this kind of Photo Loop of 30 max without losing server. Even my fast computer cant do junk room loops. Please fix your junk rooms. Go use your junk to make a pictograph. Also One person BUYS the telports and has all the apartment links incase there is a disconnect to fix!
Rules for a Photo Loop.
1. You cannot have photo ops all over your world, or be joined to other loops. Its 1 loop ONLY!

The reason or explanation:
if a person goes from one loop to another to finish off due to a disconnect to get their 30 max, they might be taking pictures of yours more than one time since you are all over the stinking place for one reason or another, who knows why, other than you think a loop is your storage center for all your stinking junk to place all over and cant find for 5 years and everyone has to refresh, loose their film and start all over and miss out on 2 and one half levels every day because of your stinking crap stored in a loop and loops you ultimately ruined.

2. You must promise never to remove your telport even if you quit, stop playing, get mad, hate someone in the loop, hate everyone, disassociate yourself with the entire team or a member and decided to sit in some corner thinking your are a banana for 5 years. This goes for the OWNER of the loop and all the loop members! It's not for YOU. It is for others. It is for YO. it is for NOOBS. Its for all of YO-Happiness. The loop works for blocked people. You still get your experience points and 50 coins on a blocked person in the loop. After all a block is also experience and worth something every day.

When you level up your homes, avenues or rooms. You go to another level. Look on your badges as well to see how you level up.
Your character levels up on the badges too.
HINTS
It does not matter if you spend a lot in the room or a little in the room. The room is set to have so many items. You can level a room with 100 cheap items faster then with a yocash item or expensive items. When you level a room and your goal is to finish off a home, your fastest most economical way to do this is to use, smaller cheap items. In the older furniture I used the 50 coined night lights many times to level up a room. The nice thing you can use these later in pictographs so it is never a waste. Try to do 1 pictograph in each of your homes. This way you will put some good use to your junky items and say something pretty with them. Do it in one of your back rooms.

You can push your friends up a ladder by playing games with them in fishing and in the racing by letting them win. I think this only works if they are above level 50. But I know it works.

decorate your home.. photo ops, maxing, doing the fishing game and the racetrack game i believe gives a little xp

Also if you want, just go buy baitworms. It takes some coins but you get reimbursed with having a higher level.
