I really want to make a transparent picture of my avatar to use in siggies and I am struggling. Do you use a white background and just fill it in with the greyish background color? I have a Windows 7 PC.. tysm! <3

I am not joking and you will not believe how easy this is. In Paint. No joke in paint. You dont need special programs. All you need is a snipping tool and that is easy. It is in windows also. Go to your start menu and in search, type in "snipping tool" Then once you find it over over it and send to your desk top, your task bar and your easy peasy "location bar" when you click on start. This way you will have this in 3 fast locations. Do the same thing with paint. You want it all over so you dont have to search for it.

In paint, go to the word Select--looky looky looky- K BOOM! transparent section. check it.
Not for the really kewl easy peasy thing..
Try this
Blob anything on something in paint. maybe a stupid eye or something, or many a shoe. (lolol @ shoe)
Open up that sweet snipping tool that used to be not as a part of WINDOWS but this cute little guy in college, I thought he was only 18 when he developed the snipping tool. It was a stand alone program and it was so great that windows adopted it as part of it's program. It was a |free program he developed for anyone.
So take that wonderful tool that works cross platform in anything WIndows, paint, photo shop, illustrator, every Adobe product and all things on the internet.
snip something with this tool anything anything. DO NOT SAVE.. just leave it hanging in the air and jump over to paint and make sure you have your transparent selection selected.
PASTE. it is transparent. see that??
Or.
you choose a white paint and do it all in white and no one will see it. hahhaha hahaha hahahah
