I just have a simple question. I was off of yoville for a long time. I went back to playing, and this game is now called yoworld. Not many of my neighbors transferred over so I have very few. My question is, how do you add people here or request they become neighbors and, does one still need to be FB friends before becoming neighbors in yoworld?

Hi baby Jeeves, In answer to your question. We have buddies and we have neighbors. buddies are a minus away and neighbors are not. A neighbor is more than a buddie.
Originally buddies were and still are neccessary as it gives a player ability to know a player before adding them in fb. A buddy and you can gift back and forth but you will not double your gifts with a buddie as you do a neighbor. A neighbor can gift and recieve with you in the app making your gift double up.
A neighbor is also called " crew" as you work together, team up, and share hot dogs in facebook feeds. We cannot share hot dogs with a buddy in facebook as they are not are best friends many times. If you go to your settings and scroll to the bottom you need to refresh your friends and buddies as you add them to be able to see them in your buddy list on the right.
the minus sign disappears as you add them to your neighbor list. . be sure to go to setting and refresh cache and freind list as you add.

I am in need of neighbours too.. my YoWorld Account bugged out at the factory.. I had over 75 neighbours.. now I only have 9 :S It constantly keeps saying I need 8 neighbours to get Managing VIP or something like that... If anyones looking for neighbours they are very welcome to add me to facebook

I think alot of us are all in the same boat here after the change over.. which really kinda sucks I am however very grateful that I didn't loose my account like my mother did .. or loose half of my houses and stuff!)

Isn't there an easier way to get neighbours? If others are willing to add a YW player to Facebook, in order to become neighbours, isn't that a lot easier than buddying first? Do both players need to be online at the same time to become buddies? If I make a player a buddy, does that player also have to make me one, and then we do the neighbour thing?

I played this a couple of years ago under the previous owners. Not only was getting neighbours far easier, but also hiring a crew was possible. I sent out crew hire requests umpteen times recently, and still have 0 crew members. And, there is no way for me to ask for energy, or hot dogs.
