I have figured out how to make DIY beds and fireplaces and alcoves. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make furniture like couches and chairs? I am stumped. Everything I try looks a mess.

There are a few tutorials on the boards here and there

It does not sound like a hobby you enjoy are you making them because of prices or availability?
