Celtic Fantasy

We jumped from the Continental Cruise right into the Celtic Fantasy theme. I thought this was going to be the St. Patrick's Day theme, but they turned out to be 2 separate themes.
 Edit 03/22/2016 - I was just listening to the podcast and they mentioned they were wrapping up this theme. I have mixed emotions on this...where was the furniture? Like many of the other theme releases, so many of the players were waiting for the theme furniture to be released before they invested any money into purchasing the home for the theme. And it seems BVG doesn't put out furniture unless there seems to be a lot of interest from the players for the theme...seems to me they determine interest by the number of purchased theme homes. So we're at a stalemate...players won't buy homes until the furniture has been released and programmers won't put out furniture until enough interest in the theme is shown....resulting in both parties doing nothing to resolve the problem. Although this home didn't have complete rooms, the ones that were there seemed large enough that I could partition out some rooms to include what was missing (the kitchen/dining and bathroom) without taking away any outdoor areas and it was at a somewhat reasonable price range (25YC). On the plus side, BVG saved me money because usually I get tired of waiting for furniture to come out and I use some Items I already have in my inventory and/or I go and purchase what I feel will fit in from the stores and usually right after I do this, they release furniture for the theme and I end up buying again. But this time, I didn't have to double purchase! So they actually saved me money! But really....They should plan better and release a complete line of furniture when they release a full theme home and a smaller coin home with each theme! This would result in many more purchases of homes as players like to "budget" their finances and plan their purchases....just like in RL (Real Life), because purchases in YW does affect RL finance budgeting.

I revised some things in my Avenue that used to be "To The GreenTreehouse" that went to my Treehouse..and put another avenue, "The Green", between this avenue, now called "To the Green", and the treehouse to add in the Celtic Castle.
To The Green.

This is "The Green" the new ave I added so I could include Celtic Fantasy.

I turned this room into my kitchen/dining
Image

I just finished the adjoining balcony today.
Image

The castle didn't come with a bathroom, so I added one in the hallway.

And finally...the bedroom
Image

And of course...since they just released furniture yesterday...I ended up buying (which I really wasn't going to do....but did) some new bedroom furniture and had to change it up.

This is the Merry Meadow... (Thanks for the inspiration to place my Tree of Life there Tuleda!) I added an arrow to this room to connect up to my Secret Garden PotholesPath

For some reason, I couldn't get into my front door so I had to walk all the way around to the back entrance to get to my living room.

Oh wow...as I speak...a friend just messaged me they finally put out furniture for the CelticFantasy theme...while they're wrapping it up??????? Seriously??!!?? smh... guess I'll have to use it for some other themes....way too slow to be used for Celtic Fantasy! hmmmm...after seeing a pop up on it...I may have to reconsider.... :wailing:

Well I came on here to share my Secret Garden Avenues...and see that some of my photos aren't showing up because I used the URL from some selfies....which at the time I didn't realize the selfies photos would disintegrate in a week or so from posting. I'll try to update those photos so we can view them.
Anyways, Here are my avenues from The Secret Garden theme.

Secret Garden PotholesPath
I also used some transport arrows to connect up with some prior, relevant, themes.
Image
Oops...guess this isn't the latest image...I tried adding a tree from the sweet Easter theme...but decided it didn't quite fit the Secret Garden theme so I removed it. Here's a newer (latest) image.

Image

Secret Garden PondPath
again, I used a transport arrow to connect up with a prior theme.

Image

Secret Garden Treehouse
I opted to not purchase the treehouse offered with this theme and instead, used an empty trailer I had~so this is my homemade custom treehouse home. I also added an arrow here to connect up my "secret garden".

Image

Secret Garden Escape
Image

Secret Garden LivingRoom and Kitchen
I tried to use the sofa and chairs offered for this theme...too much foliage and brush for me...might as well set up camp under a bush. So I found some other furniture that seems to work ok.

Well, if you cross the creek of my Secret Garden Escape, you'll end up at Flora Ave. Hang a right and it'll take you to the April Fools Barbecue at The Wrong Way Club House!

Ask any us if you want to know how to do it the wrong way...we got answers!!! :haha: :haha:

The Wrong Way ClubHouse Meeting Room
Oh yeah! You know it...when it comes down to gettin' to the business...it's the wrong way! :haha: :haha: But you'll notice, the fun and recreation are always the right way!!! (Been there and done that-as far as the wrong way for fun!) :haha:

If you go back to Flora Ave and hang a right again, you'll come to Floral Meadow. This was made with the FairyTale Field.

Finally replaced all of my missing photos on this thread. Thought I'd share my Irish Thatched Cottage with you. I'll start with the avenue to get to it.

I couldn't find a place where the sewing machine belonged so I stuck it up here in the landing. I didn't want it in the middle of the room so I ended up having to "move" my bedroom door to accommodate my sewing machine.

I wanted to share my 2015 Fireworks Celebration.
I did this using a FS Avenue. A friend visited and did a video of it and passed it on to me so ... I thought I'd share the link to the video under the photo since I don't know how to post a gif image to the forum.

I'm not doing the spring wedding theme so I decided to go back to one of my homes I got back empty and try to renovate. This is the Yo Wild Reserve. It's my

I really wish they would have just moved those WikkdMistress animated waterfalls to YoDepot... they added a lot to running water scenes.

I wanted to show you what this looked like as it comes from the Realtor...and below it is my transformation. Again, I wish they would've just moved those animated Northern Lights to YoDepot. I used them for a lot of different effects...in this case, combined with the Northern Lights from the Canadian Holiday theme, it made the water look like it was moving!
Here's the URL for my Yo Lake if you'd like to see the effects for yourself! (be sure to click on the 2 Canadian Northern Lights to activate them for the full effect)https://apps.facebook.com/playyoworld/?d=h12047490

I want to share my Ancient Egypt rooms. I didn't like the number of rooms available with the offered theme home, so I chose to use the Moroccan Tent Home.

If you go through the Port entry door, you'll enter Yo In De Nile Port Dock, this is the original Egypt theme coin home where I spent my time waiting for the stores to come out with items for the new theme.

I've tried 3 times to go into the balcony and the room is empty...will edit this and post a photo sometime when I can see everything.

Going back through the Port Entry Marketplace, and continuing straight on through, is my Tributary Of De Nile. If we ever have another Egypt theme or another place in Africa, I'll probably put an arrow in that doorway to connect up since the other end of this avenue is connected to my Welcome To Africa (1st Ave).

If you go back to the Marketplace and hang a right, you'll come to my Egypt Near The Nile Pyramids

I went to my Rooms With A View motel...I guess it's the closest thing I have to a wedding....I have a bridal suite in one of the rooms. :D This hotel also is home to my old Zippy Loop Room. Sometimes I change the room decor with the theme...but mostly I do it seasonal. I'll just post the most recent change with this motel spread.

Most of the rooms are still connected and many are updated with each theme so they're still great for top coin selfies (except the room after mine...last time I checked it wasn't a level 10 yet---edit: my bad...he's leveled it up to a Level 10!!! YaY! :) )
