Thank you so much Nabs!
Those earlier rooms of mine are almost embarrassing, but they were fun to create. I like old school stuff but my style has changed a lot. I still have a cookie cutter style which doesn't utilize shading and shadows enough... I have lots to learn, but it's all fun.
I'm a huge fan of your rooms. There are so many reasons I am slow (health, decorating is painful for my body w/ so much clicking, sitting, waiting, lagging, disconnecting...and my brain is just about done with the process, overwhelmed by being underwhelmed by how slow good items are released, I've forgotten what items exist and what I already own). Yes I tend to have to have at least one or two very inspirational items for a room to even begin. Then I use the item and don't have anymore of that item and sometimes I have to tear apart a room to use it again, which is sad for me. If I purchase items it can cost me many million coins per room so it's too expensive as well. So I keep a lot of my ideas in my head. I have no idea what items in the stores exist for the things I want to do and sometimes start a room and find nothing works, so I give up. My ideas are like twisted new angles giving height to rooms and seeing ceilings, the shapes I envision are not like what we have to use. I want more building components in game to give new shapes and dimensions...
Also, with so many sick days, I also cannot justify the time to decorate when I have so many real life things that can't get done when I'm sick. Feeling good is precious. So once or twice a year I allow myself to have decorating mojo.
Your rooms are truly fascinating. You're one of two favorite decorators, if not my favorite.
