THE GATE OF SANTA MARIA: The Gate of Santa Maria stands as a door from the West to the East, welcoming all who pass through.


THE WESTWARD CANAL: The Westward Canal is a canal artificially carved around the Imperial Palace in the fashion of a moat. The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rose and the Imperial Throne Room may be accessed by way of the Western Canal.


THE EASTWARD CANAL: The Eastward Canal is a canal artificially carved around the Imperial Palace in the fashion of a moat. The Hall of Navigation may be accessed by way of the Eastern Canal.


THE IMPERIAL THRONE ROOM: The Imperial Throne Room of Santa Maria is the seat of civil power in the Empire. Praetorian Guards always stand watch to protect their monarchs, and a globe sits between the ornate thrones to signify the global reach of the Empire.


THE CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF THE ROSE: The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rose is the seat of ecclesiastical authority in Santa Maria and the residence of the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church of YoWorld.


THE HALL OF NAVIGATION: The Hall of Navigation is the entrance hall of the Imperial Palace. This gilded corridor serves to emphasize the Empire as a seafaring people.


THE IMPERIAL ARCHIVE: The Imperial Archive, commonly known as the librarium, is the largest collection of civil and ecclesiastical texts in the world.


THE HALL OF FRATERNITY: The Hall of Fraternity is the Imperial Palace's treaty room. Foreign dignitaries sit with the Holy Emperor, Holy Empress, or High Queen at the center table to discuss alliances and current geopolitical affairs.


THE IMPERIAL OPERA HOUSE: The Imperial Opera House is the beacon of the arts in Santa Maria. For centuries, the Imperial Family have patronized the arts and given millions of dollars to those who contribute to the continuation of the Empire by means of cultural ventures.


THE IMPERIAL DUNGEON: The Imperial Dungeon, known colloquially as the skookum, is the holding place of the Empire's most dangerous criminals.


THE GUILLOTINE: The Guillotine of Santa Maria serves as the Empire's public display of bringing the most heinous criminals and traitors to justice.


THE CATACOMBS: The Catacombs of Santa Maria are an ancient burial ground located below the streets of the venerable capital.


LA SOPHIA: La Sophia is the flagship of the burgeoning Imperial Navy.
