How do you know if it's compatible with your tv?

If you have an HDMI input for your tv and some way to power the fire stick close by, your tv is compatible. Some TVs do not a USB port for power close by. So check on that.

Like Rod said, if you have an hdmi input on your tv and wireless internet then it should work.
