Last year, it was horrible where I live. We didn't see the sky for almost 2 weeks. This morning, I woke up to smoky skies. Here's some of the photos that I took last year.

My greenhouse is across the street. We couldn't even see it!

It was in the 80's outside and this is how the sun looked.

More sun photos.

The sky was yellow.

I could barely see across the river.

It's an eerie feeling being able to fully stare at the sun and it won't harm your eyes.

So, I'm hoping that we do not have a repeat...because I took these photos in September.

I was living in a post-apocalyptic world for almost 2 weeks last September. It was supposed to be close to 100 degrees out today, but we have a smoke haze in the sky so it didn't quite get up there. It just looks overcast out...but frigging hot.

Oh hun I hope you'll be okay. We live in NJ and the smoke is traveling to us from Calf, so I can't imagine what you go threw.

I am so sorry. We had some deadly wildfires here back in 2016 it looked the same so smoggy. We lost 14 people and almost 200 injured. Beautiful mountains burned, homes and businesses destroyed. They can be devastating.

Yikes! Those looks bad, I'm so sorry it's been like that. *sigh*

I recently moved to CA and I haven't experienced that lately, hopefully it doesn't show up anytime soon.

Last year, that's what we mainly got was the smoke from the CA wildfires. It was sitting off the Pacific coast and then it blew inland and it settled down over us. I know that the air quality in Salem, Oregon was worse than it was in any major Chinese city. The sky was freaking yellow. It's not that bad here today...but I can see how it can quickly change for the worst in the blink of an eye.
