Was wondering what is happening to the buddy connections?
A buddy for many years, now I can not longer see their avatar to collect a chest. They can see me some, some cannot. We had no problems these particular buddies I was able to see prior about 6 weeks back.
On some one week I see them maybe once, another week not at all? Is Tech support looking at the buddy list, maybe tweaking it?
Is the buddy list from the old software of Yoville days?
JUST an FYI : It is getting boring on yoworld without seeing friends on a normal in their room, or when they could see me and collect a chest.
Too many glitches? Please advise what is in our future of buddy connections?
And our friend fb connections to the game to see each others avatars also?
Please advise.

A lot of moving parts here, so I'll try. I define our "buddy list" as the list that contains all of our game and FB friends that pops up in the playing screen when we click on it. It shows players as active or offline etc from top to bottom. The "Friends Ladder" is below the playing screen and is a list of all of our Facebook friends sorted by their level from right to left.

For me, the buddy list has not had any recent problems of which I am aware, but the Friends Ladder has been a little wonky lately. And by wonky, I mean not showing some of my FB buddies that it used to show. I think it has something to do with some recent changes, but I am wildly guessing. Hopefully it fixes itself.

I also think some former FB players have started playing exclusively on the direct Yoworld game, and this may have caused their FB status to drop off our Friends List. My guess is that they are still on your regular Buddy List, but no longer on your Friend's Ladder?

This is happening with some of my buddies, not on my end l don't think, but this has been going on way to long! It is AGGRAVATING to see them and they can't see me and vice versa. And yes we are friends on fb and this l think is where the problem lies.

Hi, Joy! Here is the answer to your question and the solution to your problem. Back in the YoVille days there were 500 buddies on the Friend's Ladder and on the Buddy List. YoWorld expanded the Buddy List to 1000, but not the Friend's Ladder. If you have over 500, people on lower levels will start dropping off as you add more people so that only 500 remain in the ladder. This caused the disappearing buddy issue. Also, even though you think you are sending gifts and receiving gifts from 1000, you are actually only getting from and giving to 500, the same ones that are on your Friends Ladder.

Solution - trim your buddy list to below 499 then all your friends will return to the Friend's Ladder, their ghosts will be there when you visit and they will be able to leave ghosts when they visit you so that you can visit them back.

Below is my husband's ladder before and after I trimmed his buddy list to under 499. This worked for me, too, as I had almost 1000 on my list. I now keep it below 499.

Rod, please read my answer to Joy for the solution to the Buddy List/Friend's Ladder issue. It's an easy fix so pass the information along to your friends.

Ohhhh this just happened to one player I care about. I will have to trim it back so that she shows up again.
