Billions maybe even. And that wish is usually made upon a planet, since Venus is often the brightest "star" in the sky and appears before the others...

For a wish to come true, it must be wished upon a star. A planet won't do
Wish upon the sun!! The sun is a star!

Seriously, it is possible for this thread to go on until page 243, but only if it is moved to the General Section. In this YoWorld Discussion section, the Vikings might lock or move it it it goes on and on and on with nothing related to YoWorld :haha:

What are we stock piling for?
I've not heard any warnings of something wicked coming our way.
But very curious to know

TY Zany ^^^^^^

Since this thread may or may not have anything at all to do with Yo............

Is it even possible to "love everyone"? Because if I'm being honest, I don't think anyone can really love everyone. I mean, have you guys seen some of the "everyones" out there? I'm part of everyone, and I can barely tolerate myself.

Do you think Gandi loved everyone? Mother Theresa? The Dalai Lama? What does loving EVERYONE actually look like?

Of course you can love everyone. I don't have to like what they do or what they stand for, but on a spiritual or soul level, I definitely love everyone.

Would that not be called empathy instead of love?

Would that not be called empathy instead of love?

Defining what "love" is as it relates to others has been one of the toughest things I've ever tried to do. It's a truly nebulous term that encapsulates a wide range of emotions and behaviors. And each of us defines it differently and applies different weights to each possible dimension of love.

The list of things that people toss in their love bucket is endless - gifts, sex, time, connection, commitment, support, words, empathy, affirmation, correction, sacrifice, etc etc etc....... Any of these can be included or excluded at differing weights in order for someone to measure love. It is simply the most nebulous and exhausting concept to wrap my mind around.

I like what Doodles said. I do think it is possible to determine to love everyone on some level. At the base of it, showing care and consideration for others is a type of love - even if they do things that we don't like. But then when I expand beyond care and consideration, I wrestle with the rest of what love includes.

That's way too much time and energy into that. I'll just continue to dislike everyone equally because I think, in general, people just suck. :rose:
