You can't say penetration level and not give me the giggle fits LOL!
They are finding new things each day. It is promising and annoying at the same time. Especially for people that don't understand science works, it just takes time to study. It is a new disease. Another reason I have no problem wearing a mask. If it helps keep others safe I am happy to do my part. If we find out down the road it didn't help much, it is not a big deal to me either. I understand with new facts comes the new guidelines and procedures.

Yes ma'am. PENETRATION LEVEL. LOL
I love watching the science around this take form. We haven't had a unilateral threat like this in a while where tons of funding has poured into it. We are learning at such a rapid rate, there will be many things we do now that we find out later weren't needed or we needed more of it. I get a giggle at social media posts (or in here) that sound all authoritative, when all they really are is someone's best guess - and that includes the CDC. If I had a quarter for every time they change their recommendations about covid.....LOL
But back to the science. I wonder if any of the conclusions being derived from testing are being muffled or exaggerated based on the "fit" for the politics of the hosting nation? For example, I wonder how much China truly knows and are they sharing any of it or clouding it so that no one else can benefit? This world has become a crazed place where people grab whatever they can to fit their view, rather than adapting their view to the facts. Or in worst cases, they grab one fact and ignore all others to enhance their view as the only one that is correct. It is the worst form of pride and does incalculable damage.
*sigh* What a planet..........![]()
