Interstellar is a good movie if you like Sci-fi, I like this one because the stuff you see may not be 100% accurate but pretty damn close to what's real according to what we know so far. The cosmological incidents and how they were experienced by the actors have been researched in depth with many scientists prior to filming so you'll get a pretty good idea about the excitement of being in the presence of a black-hole, no pun intended, i guess.

If you're ever in the mood for a good cry

There have only ever been 2 movies that made me cry. This, and the end of Marley & Me (mostly because Marley reminded me so much of my dog).

Marley and Me was so sad. A Dogs Purpose was sad also and now my daughter wants to see part 2. :dizzy: :wailing: No dog movie has ever got me as much as Old Yeller though. I cried like a baby and refuse to ever watch it again. :wailing:

The Trip to Bountiful (1985)

Best Actress in a Leading Role for Geraldine Page.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090203/

I made a list of every best picture, best actor, best actress from 1929 to date and made a point of watching each movie. Some didn't stand the test of time, but this one was an unbelievable surprise.

I can't even think about it too much or I'll start crying. And big boys don't cry...

I haven't seen it in forever but Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is a great movie.
Jim Carrey is brilliant in dramatic roles, as I've found most comedians are.

I would also recommend The Matrix to anyone. It is my favorite movie of all time. It makes me smile very time I watch it. It is technically perfect for my tastes. It is smart, action packed, tense, and filled with warnings of a future we continue to race towards. It also has a double storyline. The movie stands on its own as a story, but it is also a retelling of the story of Christ, The One. Humanity has lost itself to an evil it cannot control. Blinded to their own loss, they serve the evil unknowingly. But a few humans know the truth, and their faith lies in the appearance of The One. And that One holds the keys to freeing them from the evil and living in the truth of who they really are. It just doesn't get any better than that for me.

Yes, he was amazing! I have only seen What Dreams May Come from your list. I must watch the rest. He was also great in a thriller role, I loved him in One Hour Photo, gave me the chills.

one hour photo and insomnia are nail biters
The Fisher King is amazing
a yuppie (robin wms ) is in a restaurant with his wife
A Radio personality (Jeff Bridges) goes on a rant saying all yuppie scum must die
A vigilante takes that as a message and open fires in a restaurant killing wms wife and leaving wms a broken soul living homeless and seeking the holy grail
Bridges becomes a recluse alcoholic and eventually mets wms realizes who he is and decides he needs to heal Wms in order to heal himself
Terry Gilliam film Ive watched it some 12 or so times
