Interesting! But, Lady Jessica is supposed to have red hair right? Just like her father, the baron? (Alia does call him grandfather remember?) Her mother is Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam! (Gom Jabbar lady.)

Never read the book.

Yes it was a mini series. The books are massive and hurt my head, but worth it. The guy used vocabulary like a gauntlet to prove we are worthy. LOL It was also a 1984 film that is not very good (my opinion).

If you enjoy a good movie, you'll like the new one and probably really like it. If you enjoy scifi, you'll love it. It was a good ride in my book!

The 1984 movie left out quite a bit, but it did stay true to Dune IMO. The difference is, the book introduces Paul as a young man with a lot of obstacles, while the movie presents Paul as a very powerful adept young man who has a hard road ahead that he'll travel safely. :nerd: ;)

Her face when the Reverend Mother was testing Paul.........she became every mother who has ever helplessly watched their child suffer...

Actually, I was defending the 1984 movie! ;) It's decently true to the book. (The book is LONG afterall!)
