It’s never too late to have a black kitty, I myself have got my first one just this year! They’re so beautiful. I have had, (and still have him as a big boy now), a tuxedo but not a fully black one. I’m so happy I finally got one. And I’m glad you like the cute black stray kitty, once they choose you it’s hard to let go haha.
