I just love this, and I don't like pink or rabbits. LOL The emotions conveyed are crystal clear and the details are impressive. I don't know the movie, but now I think I should know it. TY for sharing! (again)

I know some will say good night as soon as they show up and I think they mean they are leaving so will say bye to them but they stay, so I think they say it as in good evening…just a thought lol

Well there was one instance when I finished selling an item to someone, and lowered the price significantly because she kept asking me to. When we finished trading, she said "You're welcome" out of nowhere and I asked her what she meant and she said she was doing me a favor and helping me out by buying that item from me. English was her first language. That's what I meant. People who are condescending about it. It's silly but that's what a pet peeve is. Something silly that annoys you.

In real life, my biggest pet peeve are people who slurp their food and make other disgusting noises when they eat. I seriously have to leave the room if people if someone is doing that.

Moving off of pet peeves, my hatreds are injustice, people who lie, people who manipulate, people who gossip and spread rumors, bullies, abusers, and people who do illogical things for no reason. I don't like when people go on and on about themselves but don't listen or care to remember when other's speak or share information about themselves. I also don't like people who steamroll others and do whatever they want without any regard for the other person's feelings. I've ended friendships because the other person(usually male) always felt like it was okay to do or say the most humiliating, awkward, and weird things to the people around just because they felt the compulsion in that moment to do so. I used to be friends with someone who always felt the need to do the absolute most when were together no matter how deeply uncomfortable or humiliating it was for me.

I also truly dislike when people who are in positions where they can do better choose to not do so. I hate when older adults who claim to be mature target and bully people much much younger than them. Although it's very wrong and not acceptable, I understand why an immature teenager who doesn't know better would feel the need to bully someone. But why on Earth would a fully grown adult target someone half or even a 1/3 of their age? It happens a lot where adults well into their 40's, 50's, and 60's target young people(some of who are younger than their own children) and bring all their other adult friends to gang up against and bully that young person. It's middle school behavior. I feel as though, when some people reach a certain age, they unlearn all that they have learned in their adulthood and revert back to adolescent behavior. Weirdly enough, it happened so often in my youth when school teachers would build feuds and target their students(literally children) and go out of their way to humiliate them and say malicious things. It's very damaging to young people when adults do this and many people grow up to do the very same things because they learned this behavior from school teachers or even people in their family.

I've been working on my Asian cooking, and particularly this ramen noodle chow mien chicken stir fry. The sauce is that perfect savory taste with a hint of heat and sweet and it permeates the ramen.

I read a little bit of everything really. I love horror of course Stephen King, Anne Rice, Clive Barker, Dean Koontz. I am also a fan of the little guy as well. I am not afraid to read something from a new author. I love mystery, thriller and a little romance and Addison Moore brings a little of all that as well as some laughs she has the sarcastic sense of humor I just love and brings it to her books, I even read young adult because I would buy the books for my daughter so why not read them as well. :D I have read so many different book genres. If it holds my interest I read it. :haha: I also love true crime I have a few John Douglas and Mark Olshaker books on my shelf, I am also a Pepper Winters fan. :D

What am I good at? I'm good at growing cannabis. I own one of the largest tier two wholesale cannabis grows in my state. I'm also good at writing, cooking, photography, auto mechanics, organic gardening and camping.

Here's one of eight rooms that I grow cannabis in.

Here's some other stuff that I grow:

These were a new pair of caulk boots that I had to have special-made as they don't tend to stock caulks (for logging) in a boys size 5.

And here are some blog/cooking accomplishments. This was the first magazine that my blog was featured in. Holy cow! This was a long time ago!! This is also when I was invited to go to Seattle to visit the Allrecipes headquarters because I was their top food blogger of all time. I believe I still hold that title to this day.

I believe that a person should go through life with the mindset that they need to learn one new thing each day. We're never too old to do that.

Love growing things... used to but spending my time studying for Comptia A+ certification, you have made me really miss growing things. And at 51 going back to college, I couldn't agree MORE with your last sentence, I have struggled with high functioning severe depression, and honestly to pick up something and learn has been one of my major coping mechanisms (prolly my only healthy one.)

I'm 52. It's nice to meet someone my age here. Anyhow, this old dog can still learn new tricks. ;) What are you going back to college for? I haven't been in a classroom for decades now. I got my AA and that was it.

Us old dogs can not only learn new tricks, but teach the new dogs the old tricks while we're at it. :haha:
I always had an interest in computers, WarGames and a few other childhood movies may have pushed me in certain directions (at least thats my excuse for decades of nerdy geekdom) and now I fancy myself a 'white hat' hacker, a techie looking to get a legitimate job protecting people. But I am also a pagan who worships Freya and nature, and have a overgrown place out in the sticks (woods really) with too many cats and huge old trees and fairy rings and owls and bullfrogs.
I have two kids, my oldest is my transgender son and my youngest is my willfull and wonderful rebel daughter. My son lives with me and my daughter lives with my ex in Tennesee. She has recently expressed interest in going to the same community college I am attending in Virginia, so that's made me VERY happy recently- not only that her plans to go to college for mortuary science hasn't faded but she wants to go to MY alma mater. :D :D :D
I started in IT (Information Technology) but I am now specializing my studies in cybersecurity (surprise surprise lol) but I am going to get certified coz of a few choice jobs that have opened up if I got the certs.
You are welcome at my fire anytime.
