I always enjoy looking at these. They are too small to really benefit from an auditor, but they would certainly be fun to work for. They understand culture and that their people are what drives success. I'm sure they have a few frustrated peeps on staff, but for the most part they take care of their team. That's cool in this mercenary world that we live in.

Game Designer - Big Viking Worlds

We are searching for a talented Game Designer to help create winning experiences for our established FishWorld and YoWorld titles. This position can be based at either our London, ON or Toronto, ON studio.

The Duties:

Draft game briefs for both FishWorld and YoWorld, as well as any new Worlds projects, you will help define our product roadmap.
Design and plan systems, features, mechanics and game content in addition to balancing game pacing and in-game economies to ensure and optimize long-term player retention and monetization
Take proposals from the Product Manager and create specification documents
Maintain proper and updated documentation as required in order to provide game analysis and breakdowns
Working closely with your team of developers and artists to reach both design and development goals
Provide some statistical analysis of game KPI's and generate plans for improvement as needed
