I just finished Halt and catch fire and I miss it already! I followed Jenny's suggestion to watch Black Mirror and that was some freaky sh*t. I haven't finished all the seasons yet but I do love it. The mind of the writers of that show are fascinating, like who comes up with this stuff? Really good. Are there any other shows you're watching? I'm running out of options. :wailing:
Someone close to me recommended Mad men but I'm on the fence...

I thought we had a thread like this but I can't find it. ?

Mad Men is really good, I just finished watching it a couple weeks ago. There are a few boring bits and some unnecessary characters, but there are a lot of great characters and storylines that keep you interested. It is also funny which I wasn't expecting. Roger is the one that made me laugh the most. It makes you feel all the emotions. I found the ending satisfying too.

I recommend Mindhunter. The first season was great, I haven't watched the second one yet. It's got some disturbing content but there's a lot of humour which balances it out.

Thank you so much Filthy! I'm going to watch it. I wasn't so sure about the time period but I'll get over that. Black Mirror had It's disturbing parts but I really got into it.

I was not going to watch it for the same reason because I thought all the misogyny would piss me off too much. But, they handled it well.
There's a few episodes of Black Mirror I could never watch again, one of them being the first one :haha:

"Awake" is already discontinued and a rather short show but I enjoyed it

Also if you like "Stranger things" try out "Dark". It is a German Netlix show but available with English subtitles.

I started watching Dark. It's actually dubbed in English with American accents on Netflix Australia, so I assume that is the same for some other countries?

Tudors
Rome
Spartacus (season 1, season 2 no bueno lol)
Deadwood
Barry
True Blood
Game of Thrones

These are either Showtime or HBO, but that makes sense because I hate commercials. And Vikings was awesome enough, I sat through the commercials anyway...
