the subtle art of not giving a f **

A great read a lot of language but it is one of the most genuinely truthful books I have read in some time

Rereading an old series... Belva Plain's Werner Family Saga I love generational series. Eugenia Price's Savannah quartet is my favorite of all time. Most of the characters are real people. We went to Savannah on our honeymoon so I could visit all of the homes and the cemetery.

There used to be a similar thread but not sure what the author did to the title and why, good you made a new one.

Right now I'm reading Living in the Light: A Guide to Personal and Planetary Transformation by Shakti Gawain It was published in 1998 and it's incredible what you can learn from it.

I try to read series, because then if I enjoy them, I don't have to search for something to read for a few months.

Series I love are:

Stephanie Plum - Janet Evanovich (although got dumb later on)
The Spellman Series - Lisa Lutz, a must if you like Stephanie Plum
The Phillippa Gregory novels - I love British history
The Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly - It's what the series Bosch is based on, and Bosch is related to the Lincoln Lawyer somehow... half-brother or cousin or something.
I also got addicted to books written by people who left the FLDS and the Church of Scientology

I also feel rereadings coming on of The Thorn Birds, Rich Man, Poor Man, and some Sidney Sheldon books. If you like books like the first two, Queenie is also a favorite.

There are hundreds of books on both my "Read" and "To Read" shelves over on Goodreads. And everyone knows Amazon Prime members get to select one free e-book out of six on a list every month, right?

SK I love Anne Rice books-problem is she doesn't write fast enough as when finished one I look for the next one-we have to wait a year after usa has them in hard cover then we get them. paperback versions come the next half year
I do not like reading hard cover books-I love my paperbacks!!

I finished Circe by Madeline Miller and I loved it so much! I try my best to read one non-fiction and one fiction. I plan on reading
Salt by Mark Kurlansky this weekend. "substance so valuable it served as currency, salt has influenced the establishment of trade routes and cities, provoked and financed wars, secured empires, and inspired revolutions"
