How stupid to pick Thanksgiving weekend to start a new gem event. People are out of town and don't have access to playing YW and seems you took advantage of that. Also, it says there are new prizes in the slots, but how time every time I win something it's the same old crap I got the last couple times. I now have 5-6 autumn dresses that are "very rare", but none of the new prizes. What gives. When you have new prizes the old ones should go away.

Someone else is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're complaining about them starting the theme and Gem event on time because you were out of town without access to play, but at the same time complaining that they didn't start the slot prizes early because you were playing (while out of town with no access?) and getting November prizes in November?

They didn't take advantage of anything. It's just the way the dates fell this year. New themes are always started on Friday, and people were banging down BVG's door to start the Christmas themes. Black Friday is well-known to be the start of the Christmas season. Timing was actually perfect, I think, This is the first post I've read where someone didn't have access due to the holiday.

They announced the December prizes that were coming a day early to drum up interest (as I believe they do most months) but they didn't start actually coming out until the first day of the new month, today.

This probably isn't getting responses because it is in General. This kind of conversation usually occurs in Discussions and that's where people would respond.

I'm "reporting" just so an admin can move the thread. It isn't a negative thing. They ask us to report just so they see things that need attention.

Why does this thread needs attention? She is venting and she has the right to express her dissapoinment... :phew:

It was buried in General and I thought she'd get more feedback in Discussion. That's all.

I also think they should slow down with giving us chores like the gem events and themes going into the vault over the holidays.
Many of us have shopping , cleaning and decorating to do and want to spend time with our family.
