What's on your travel bucket list? I was a history nut as a kid and I've always wanted to travel and see the all the places around the world that I used to read about as a kid but if I had to narrow down the places that are most enticing to me I think it would probably be the following.

Egypt

Image

I went through a big Egypt phase when I was a kid. It's my dream to visit Cairo and Luxor and specific sites like Abu Simbel and the tomb of Ramses III.

Greece

I also went through a huge Greek mythology phase when I was a kid and I idolized Artemis lol. I think going island hopping and visiting all of the ancient sites would be so fun and magical. Plus, who wouldn't want to see Santorini?

The Dead Sea

Image

It would be so awesome to just float there in the sun for a few hours and experience all the benefits of the high salt content in the water.

Bali

Can we all just agree that Bali looks like the most beautiful place on Earth?

This doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of all the amazing places on Earth that I'd love to explore. What are some places that you dream of seeing one day? :)

While I already visited Athens, Greece, I'd still love to see some of the Greek islands, especially Santorini.
Ireland is on my travel buckt list as well. Lots of green and beautiful landscape.
Madacascar is on my list as well. One of Africa's largest islands and the only place on earth where lemurs (which i found insanely adorable) have their natural habitat.
India is another place I think I may find as beautiful in person as I do in photos.

Ireland is so beautiful. I almost included it in my post but I had to run so I just posted it anyway lol. I'd love to visit Ireland as well and experience the centuries of history and culture. I remember reading an article a few years ago reading about the Halloween festivals that take place every year. Here's the article if you're interested: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/dest ... n-ireland/

Madagascar would be so amazing to see in person as well. Lemurs are sooo adorable and it would be so awesome to see a Baobab tree in person.

I'd love to go to China one day too. Imagine getting the chance to walk the the Great Wall of China? The Terracotta Army is so mystifying to me. Every statue has a different face, different clothing. I can only imagine how eerie and human-like they would have looked back when they were all painted. We learned in my ancient world class that the artists who worked on the soldiers were sealed in the tomb with the statues because the emperor didn't want any living human to know what his terracotta army and necropolis looked like.

That's so beautiful.

This reminds me of a snow-resort in Norway located under the northern lights. It's called the Aurora Borealis Observatory. You can hang out with reindeer while checking out the northern lights!

Istanbul is gorgeous.I went four years ago.
There is lots to see: Hagia Sophia of course, but also the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Basilica Cisterna, Topkapi Palace,Galata tower and Maiden tower, but the Pierre Loti cafe offers an amazing view over the city as well. And I also booked a food tour, during which a guide leads you to both popular and secret tip cafes, restaurants, markets etc. The grand bazaar and Egyptian bazaar, also called spice bazaar are worth seeing as well.
The Prince's Islands are worth a visit, as well. On some of them no motorized traffic is allowed, with the exception of emergency vehicles.
I took a carriage to get around.
Also as a cat lover it amazed me how well the locals take care of the many stray cats and dogs.
Store owners place food and water bowls outside for them for instance.
