I used to know but it seems during my 3 year absence the knowledge escaped my brain.. so can someone explain to me how to create the awesome signatures like a lot of you all have.. Thanks.

Siggies are fun. I generally use the "Snip" tool that comes with Windows to cut the background to my siggy. Then I will use any of the online image editors that are free to drop in image and text layers. Important rules now exist -

The rectangle can only 100 tall x 500 wide. This is easy to edit.
Animations are still not allowed......much to my disappointment.
