Ok so apart from sitting here playing Yo, are you picking up any new hobbies or going back to old ones? Ordering weird things on Ebay or Amazon?

So far I have ordered...

~ 10 bottles of hand sanitizer
~ 1 box of disposable gloves
~ A tripod for my smart phone
~ Some satin sheets sets - related to the previous purchase but I won't go into detail, haha!! ;) :shh:
~ New curtains for my living room
~ A cat tunnel and some toys for my cats
~ A dreadlocks starter kit, because I'm stuck inside for another couple months so wth not!
~ Some new band patches for my denim jacket / battle vest

... I think my ebay purchase history makes me sound like a random crazy person!. :haha:

I've also watched just about every kind of makeover show, cooking, baking, interior design or fashion competition Netflix has in their catalogue right now... I'm a sucker for reality TV but I just love the drama, haha.

I am committed to minimized my material posession, so my shopping has been mainly food and hope I get that precious Whole Foods slot :D
I have been decluttering, yet seems like the never ending story.
I have been cooking and baking a lot more and I enjoy it so much.
But if I would think to buy something, it would be a punching bag, I miss kickboxing so much :wailing:. But not sure how my downstairs neighbor would like all my noises :silly:
So nothing weird for me. Just enjoying all the time I have to do things I didn't do before, or I rush to do.

Ps: Now I want to buy a dreadlock kit!!!!! I always wanted them and I have long hair. So let me know how do you like your kit

I cut my hair really short (like, guy short lol) because I was like "well, no one will have to see it and it will grow back by the end of quarantine".

I was so wrong :haha: :haha: :haha: :wailing:

Other than that, I tried some diy skincare tips and found some neat forest trails in my hometown because I was feeling crappy after seeing I didn't even make it to total of 10k steps in first 2 weeks of quarantine :silly:

Give me few more exams and mental breakdowns, I'll be there sooner than you think! :silly:

I used to have short hair as kid because we had swimming classes and having a butt-long mane was really not handy at that time. After that, I always kept it at shoulder length after letting it grow really long in high school. Recently, one friend from uni told me I'd look badazz with short short hair and I was like noooo wth back then but after few days of quarantine, bad news and boredom it was a great idea :haha:

I'm actually kinda cool with it now but my mum is still pissed and calls me Charlie Sheen, no clue why. It doesn't look like that! :haha: :haha: :haha:

Right now I just have a row of "baby dreads" on the bottom, the rest of my hair is pinned up and I haven't decided if I want to do the whole head or not. What happened though, is back in March I decided to go blonde, and I overbleached my hair and it is all breaking off... so I thought "Well, it's either dreads or cut it all off!!" So even though I'm probably going to look like a Coachella reject, I decided to try the dreads for a while, haha. :haha:

You should totally get a punching bag, that would be so cool! And great exercise! But you need a strong place to hang it, or get one on a stand. Otherwise your neighbours may really be in for a surprise! lol

Nothing really strange going on here at my house..I mean I can't order what I usually order from Sams club once a month..all I get is out of stock :wailing: :wailing:
I don't wear a mask but I take social distancing serious..we still order off of amazon all the time..so basically nothings changed in our house. I honestly hate going into town though..seeing people wearing mask's makes me think we're living in some horror movie :wailing:

Before covid-19 I was used to see people with mask, I live close an asian community so it was common here. But of course, it is different now, to see everyone wearing masks now. I havent left my house in over a month. So I wonder how is the commuting now, less subways, less people, idk... I am a few blocks away from the subway station yet seems like over there is the twilight zone. :night:

Texas is an odd place. We have people who are militant about distancing, and we have people who are not interested in it all. A lot of people are just doing life and ignoring most of the warnings. About 1 in 10 wear masks. Most employees at most businesses are wearing them. They opened up a few more things this weekend.

I've noticed myself paying attention to the return of toilet paper to the shelves. That aisle in both stores I shop was decimated. But it is coming back now. There's always TP on the shelf now. It was super weird how people jumped on that item as the one they needed to survive the Apocalypse. LOL I never bought any extra, because I always have enough for about 3 months anyway. But it is nice that my preferred brand is back on the shelf.

I am saving a fortune by not commuting. But I am spending it on gardening and maybe.....a little extra alcohol.

Mostly looking for shows, listening to songs i grew up listening to, there's SO much time to think so i spend it looking for a happy/happier place because the present really sucks and i can't wait for this to be over so i can go back to selective quarantine and social distancing. I live in the city and it's very populated so i can't just go for a walk in the woods, i wish i lived somewhere country so i can explore the nature.

Dude I'd go absolutely batsh*t crazy if I didn't have the open spaces to the west of me. I hit the lake every weekend and parks during the week. I have to be outside. When I can't do either of those, I walk out front and work my garden. I cannot be confined or I get crazy.

I honestly haven't been bothered by having to stay in, I have only left my house 4 times since the 17th of March! I'm naturally an introvert and haven't been that social the last couple years, so I am handling the isolation better than others. I feel safe in my home, so I'm happy to stay here... probably should start to exercise a bit more though!

I'm supposed to be working from home, and I am, but I'm not keeping normal hours like my boss thinks I am... sometimes I'll sleep in, or take long naps during the day, then get up and work at night... a lot of what I do revolves around creating and managing events online and setting up training courses on an e-learning system. So as long as I'm awake and the top half of me looks presentable for zoom meetings, I can do most of my work at a time that suits me better. I got in trouble for sending emails at 2am though... my boss told me I have to use the "Delay Send" function or it will make him look bad to other departments, haha :D
